Introducing: ibi Long-term Support Releases

Over the years, our partnership with our customer base has played a major role in driving innovation here at ibi. This partnership has ensured that all parties enjoy sustained growth and  success. This in mind, I am happy to announce that ibi has launched our first series of Long-term Support Releases. These Long-term Support Releases are specific product releases that ibi commits to providing ongoing maintenance for five years.

Demonstrating our commitment to long-term stability

One of our top customer requests has been for this kind of long-term supported release that provides years of stability for our customers’ deployments. ibi Long-term Support Releases (LTS) will have high severity security and product issues^* addressed for the entirety of their five years of support. Meaning these releases deliver up to five years of uninterrupted stability for ibi customers with a pathway for simplified upgrades from one LTS to the next LTS in the future.

A smoother path to future upgrades

In combination with our recent release of the ibi platform offerings that include unlimited environments, these LTS releases will provide a way for customers to seamlessly transition during their upgrade journey and continue to take advantage of the investments that we are making in the ibi product portfolio. We believe that these two milestone announcements will encourage customers to take advantage of all the benefits created by our recent investments in AI and DSML services, geoanalytics, and our work to comprehensively close feature gaps between legacy and modern tools.

The ibi Long-term Support Releases are the following product releases:

• ibi Mainframe 9.3.x [Includes FOCUS]
• ibi Analytics 9.3.x [Includes WebFOCUS]
• ibi Data Intelligence 1.1.x
