FML Basics

This session provides a fundamental introduction to Finanical Modeling Language (FML). This session will demystify the core concepts and syntax of FML. Participants will learn how to perform basic calculations and create simple financial reports using FML commands.  

Machine Learning Functions in WebFOCUS

After a brief introduction to machine learning for tabular data, we will discuss and demonstrate the Maching Learning Functions in WebFOCUS. This feature enables the user to train machine learning models for various purposes with their own data and deploy these models in WebFOCUS.  

Calling REXX from FOCUS/FOCUS Studio 

This session explores the powerful capability of calling external REXX subroutines directly from within the FOCUS data analysis and reporting environment. By leveraging the procedural strength and system access provided by REXX, FOCUS users can significantly extend the standard functionality of the product. Topics covered will include parameter passing between FOCUS and REXX, handling return codes, and considerations for deployment and maintenance of such integrated solutions.
